Day 3 (Late Start)
I finished last night installs this morning at 2am in Tampa and when I finally got home and laid down, it was 3am. So in a nutshell, I pulled a 22 Hour Day yesterday. My goodness, talk about exhausting. I hit my 4th whim somewhere around 12am. Though I do have to admit, I did get my caffeine yesterday, and a healthy sandwhich.
When I woke up this morning, I was late. Ouch. I guess thats what happens when you try and balance things out from 22 hours. Ha. Good thing my boss has gone on a trip out of town for the weekend. All went well with my morning job and this afternoon I am heading back home for rest and family time.
There is a scene where Bill and Jo Harding, from the movie 'Twister', are reflecting on the task of helping 'Dora' (their data recording deivice) to fly in an actual tornado. It's that kind of awarness of mental and emotional preperation that I can relate to with this job and the list of things that are on our boards for installs. I find myself hugging tight to these small momets of peace before the storm, so I don't forget my goal of the Good life. And by the way, My wife and I have both decided that it's time to take the baby step and look for a home that would suit us.
Faith Hope and Love,
The Challenger
